This book is about a sixteen year old boy named Billy Stevens. He joins the military. He lies about his age to join up,and he is disappointed when he was signed to Royal engineers because of his telegraph training. But soon he is sent to the front and the terrible sight and sound of the trenches.

I liked this book because not only  Billy went to fight for his country he came back. I give this a rating out of 8/10.

It all started with a mysterious letter left at a tiny bookstore for authors Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black."Little could they inagine the remarkable adventure that awaited them as they followed Jared,Simon and Mallory Grace and a strange old book into a world filled with elves,goblins,dwarves,trolls,and a fantastical menagerie of other creatures.the oddest part is that in entering that world,hey didn't leave this one !

Owls do cry is Janet Frame's first novel. It is about the Withers siblings Daphne, Chicks, Toby and Francie, and their struggles with instability mental health. Daphne is lead to the mental aslyum where she receives shock treatment. In the second volume of the book she describes her idea behind it all.

I liked this book because you can imagine how the kids are feeling. I give this book a rating out of 7/10.

Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone

Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone is a world renound family classic.It is about a young boy (Harry) who has been orphaned and now lives with his uncle,aunt and cousin who all treat him basically as a slave,slowly Harry starts developing magic skills he didn't know he had.What he also didn't know is that his parents were wizard's and that it was in his blood to become one aswell.Harry's Uncle and Aunt did everything they could to try and stop him finding out the truth about his self and his powers but he had a one of a kind Hagrid come to his rescue from his horrible Uncle,Aunt and Cousin on his 11th birthday,were he took Harry away to what would become his new home.Hogwarts school of wizardry.We're he belongs.
This book is a all time classic I enjoyed reading,it's very good book overall.

Crimson Skew is a trilogy to a previous sequel book called "Golden Specific".It is about a girl on her way home to reunite with one of her best friend (Theo) who she later realises has been ordered by the prime minister to fight in the western war.Her (Sophia) and some of her other friends try to track down Theo untill they come across a probem which is called "Crimson Skew",which is a red fog.If you inhale this red fog you become a murderer.I don't want to spoil this book to much so I'll leave it at that Overall this book was interesting and I liked it.

Take me to Thailand

Take me to Thailand was a very interesting book.It includes a wide range of info based on Thailand.There was lots of informational text about Thailand such as religion (beliefs),hobbies,housing and tradition.Overall this book was very interesting and I would read it again for a different country since this book is a series for different countries.
