The fact or fiction behind science

Josh Clifton
Book 4\20
The Fact or Fiction behind Science
Genre: Informational.

This book is about facts and theories that humanity think are true. Well, are they?
Heres an example:

Chopping Onions can make you weep...

The truth is that onions are more likley to bring tears to your eyes than slamming your head into a door. The reason lies in an evil mixture of chemicals inside the onion skin called 'amino acids and sulphurs', These are OK- unless you cut the onion. Then a fine gas with the tongue-tyingly long name of syn-Propanethial-S-oxide is transported through the the air and into your eyes- promptly causing you to cry.
Avoid onion tears by wearing swim goggles near chopped onions. You will look like a wally, but atleast you'll have dry eyes.

This book is full of helpful information and humor. I really enoyed this book and recomend this book to anyone who is in the mood for learning new things. I give this book a 8\10. By Josh.
