This book is about a young girl named Caroline. She seeks to find her lost parents. She enters a small creaky door that leads her through a tunnel to her other parents she didn't know they didn't even exist. They're creepy, they have button eyes and pay way more attention to her than her real parents do. But Caroline gets stuck in a situation where they said " stay with us!! " " Oh yeah you will also have your own button eyes"! Caroline replied with " Ill be back I'll think about it. But really she's creped out by them and diced no!!! She goes back to tell them.... But they don"t let her go. But then her real parents save her.
I found this book really interesting but the movie was frightening!
