The Glass Sentence - S E Groves
Fantasy
2/20

This book feels like a real book.  E-books have their uses but nothing beats the real thing!  Much like the "Unfortunate Series of Events" books;  the creators have gone to great lengths to make this book feel real in your hands.

The story begins in our past but due to a phenomenon (do you remember this word?) called the "Great Disruption," time has been changed.  Different zones or continents within our world are operating in different time zones.  Have you ever wondered why two days at school seem so much longer than two days during the weekend?  This book might help answer that. This book presented a unique view of time and I found it intriguing from the moment I started reading it. I love books with maps (helps with my visualisation) so it hooked me in from the start!

I won't tell you anymore because I want you to read it and tell me what you think. 9/10

One

Brooke Wilson
Book 2\20
Realistic fiction
By Sarah Crossan
One is a story about  conjoined twins and them starting school and opening up  and learning things about each other that they never knew. This book tells there story start to finish. I couldn't put it down at all, this book is set out like a poem but is not read like it. I really enjoyed this book because it was very surprising by including loads of twists. I Would recommend this to more advanced readers as it is a young adults\ late teens book. Overall I give it a 9\10.

Tales of Greek Heroes

Tales of Greek Heroes
Book6/20
Genre- Collection of short stories
Thursday 10th Febuary
Josh Clifton

Tales of Greek Heroes is a book full of stories about greek heroes such as Perseus, Heracles, Dionysus, and many more. It tells the story of how they became heroes, as in Perseus slaying the three Gorgons, and Heracles completing the twelve labours. I found this book interestimg at the start, but it got a bit boring as it had 263 pages worth of greek myths. I give this book a 6\10.
By Roger Lancelyn Green; Introduced by Rick Riordan
