Tom Gates is a boy who likes doodling, making mischief, and doodling again. What he hates: His sister Delia, Marcus Meldrew, and his teacher Mr. Fullerman.
He usually gets away with drawing in class and eating caramel wafers.
He also has a band with his best friend Derek and Norman.
They go on all sorts of adventures such as school camp, but thats another story.
This book is extremely funny and I think L.Pichon has a wild imagination.
