This book is about a boy named Tom who was really excited for book week at his school. For book week up you had to dress up. Tom decided to dress up as alien scale monster but that didn't turn out very well on the day. Toms mum made the costume and made it with a onesie tom didn't know what looked like. At school when he wore the costume the scales started falling off and he was getting really embarrassed because the onesie had kittens all over it. But in the end Tom won the competition for the best costume.
