Biodiversity was mostly explaining environmental issues like extinction, Land clearing and deforistation. This book had 6 main topics that were talked about they were...Land clearing, protecting oceans, habitats, loss of mammals, extinction and How to change. My favourite subject was a case study within extinction were it showed something called the life raft of biodiversity. This section involved NZ. There was things like threats to our native flightless birds, Strange ways of living and that  new zealand 700 years ago wae cut off from any sort of inhabitants. So there were many creatures like the moa living back then which are now not. I. really enjoyed this book and would read it again.

This book was about world war . It included a lot of vivid pictures and answers that will leave you wondering. This story all firstly took place in a place called Sarajevo. We're several attempts took place to assassinate archduke Franz furdinanad (heir to the Austria-Hungary throne) and his wife Sofie.
Their was also a lot of information about what happened before and after war, alliances and much much more various subjects. Also this book included Eye witnesses and Key events that took place in the war. Overall I really enjoyed this book, it was very informative which was good. I give this book a 7/10.

This is about a whole lot of animals bears, tigers, dogs, sloths and more. It answers over 450 questions about animals. There are really good drawings and photos which make the book more interesting. There are quizzes at the end of each chapter so you can see how much you have learnt.

I really enjoyed reading this book and doing the quizzes I felt like I learned heaps.

This book is about a boy named Greg. His plan for this summer is to play video games all summer. But is mums idea is to go to a country club and play stuff with is friend Rowley. In the middle of the book Rowley and Greg have a fight over a girl and then Greg gets kicked out of the club because he was acting to be some else and in the end Rowley and Greg become friends and then they both leave the club. 
I rate this book 8/10.

The one and only Ivan

Ivan is a easy going gorilla who barely thinks about the wild and has animal friends. His friends are called Stella the elderly elephant. Ivan doesn't really think about the wild at all what he thinks about is the tv shows he watches and all his friends.

I like this book because its not just about humans its about a gorilla and the things that he like not just others.

Geronimo Stilton takes a trip to Australia thinking it would be fun but then he gets lost in the outback getting chased Kangaroos,Koalas and Crocodiles he then thought was it really a good idea to come to Australia and if he would see mouse city ever again.I give this book a 6/10.

This book is for the ones who like funny weird and joyful/sad stories that have pictures and is read like a actual diary .
I did like this book I was able to read it in a night and it didn't really take up much time as it was a lot less words and more pictures otherwise a good book so I rate it a 7/10

Zenpool was born when dead pool had pledged to stop the violence to please his wife. He started taking medications and meditating to calm himself. This was when his enemy's saw he was vulnerable  and striked but with zenpools inner-peace he found a way to defend himself and destroy his enemy's without violence.

This book/comic is packed with punch lines and funny jokes guaranteed to make you laugh. It has great illustrations and really makes you feel like you are in the book experiencing the action. I enjoyed it because I love laughing and drawings but also because of the fact that it somehow sports no violence even though all comics mainly do or at least this series.

Maniac Magee isn't his real name his birth name was Jeffery Lionel but everybody knows him by that name. When Jeffery's  parents died his life changed and he was moved (he moved himself) from home to home looking for the perfect parent. One day he found one but back then "black people" were considered bad but Jeffery could see that and went on to live with this women.

This story is about racism and how it is not ok and also a young boy making people with different skin colours bond. It is quite emotional and sad at points but mostly a fell good book. I loved reading this and I loved the creativity and enthusiasm.

This book is about a hopeless family (the Heffleys ) that decide to go on a road trip. Greg Hefley doesn't like this one bit because he'd rather stay inside and play video games but his parents give him no options. With the decision made an no escapes Greg is forced to go on a long drive that has so many twists and turns he wonders whether they'll make it out alive.

This book is hilarious, fun and it'll keep you entertained for hours. It has a great story line with lots of funny jokes and events you could only dream about having. I personally enjoyed this book because of the ridiculous humour and the twists throughout.

I liked reading this book, but for the part when her family dies that was sad. I recommend this book for 11-13 years. I give this book a rating 7/10.
