This book is about a young boy called August Pullman. He won't describe what he looks like but whatever your thinking its probably worse. August Pullman wants to be an ordinary ten-year-old. He does ordinary things like other kids like eating ice cream and playing on his Xbox. August was born with a terrible facial abnormality.  August has been home-schooled by his parents his whole life because he doesn't want to get bullied at school.
